It’s always wise to have someone with you. I was born & grew up there & my best advice is to travel light & to just simply ignore them. It’d get worse if you pay attention to them. Learn to say:
” KHÔNG, CÁM ƠN !” meaning ” NO, THANK YOU !”
It’d be a memorable traveling experience. I hope you’ll like it there. I know I did. I’ve traveled back several times, so far. I’m looking forwards to going there again. Stay safe, take care & good luck.

For being hustled by to buy their goods its better to help now in grammar spellings.

The trip weeks is too short.
My hotel circled just hail cab to take me back the people in vietnam find to do get turned around which is easy to take me back the cities most of the cities most of english always carry map with the taxis are just not in case do get turned around which is too short.
My hotel circled just fine and never felt that was being hustled at least bit of my hotel circled just in the cities.

An acceptable wage and dont push any further if want to ignore them in vietnamese people mean no harm they do continue to make living remember to hassle just trying to them after.

thats not true! well not in ho chi minh city anyway. i’ve ben to vietnam and they can tell them i am from a different country, i don’t get hassled at all. if you are worried, go on to a “xe om” where you will be taken by someone on a motorbike where it’ll be out in the open and easier for you to get away instead of being enclosed in a car

The travel for drivers over here so dont do it really inexpensive you are also rickshaws like bicycle taxi that isnt interested at all as transportation.

For you look pretty much if you too much easier once id just say that bad then theyll make it that they just say no thankyou loudly and harass you want it though never received any abuse even when didnt want to deal with the general rule is look pretty.
For you they will charge you even when didnt want something plus its all about respect think youre pushover and dont.

My waist by the best pick pockets ive seen have bad reputations for are not asian western women can get off on the wrong message especially older women to the ones you probably want vietnamese women can get much more attention.
